Engineer, Educator,
Author, Artist.
James Teitelbaum has been a studio-based music engineer for
more than three decades.
Further work in live sound has given him the opportunity to
make music all over the world.
This, in turn, inspired him to begin traveling whenever
possible.
Then he started writing about these adventures, and other
things.
Four books have resulted, with two more in the pipeline.
And, he's been a college professor since 2008.
James also makes art, sometimes using the name Left Orbit
Temple.
This project has musical roots, but has shifted towards
non-musical pieces made with found sound,
video, still photos, installations, and collaborations with
people working in all creative idioms.
